A calm studio with a mat, plant, and Pilates ball

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of service for both physical therapy and Pilates sessions. A superbill can be provided for physical therapy services upon request. I recommend contacting your insurance provider prior to starting care to better understand your out-of-network benefits.

How is this different from traditional physical therapy?

Traditional physical therapy settings may incorporate modalities and involve multiple providers, such as aides or trainers. In contrast, my studio offers one-on-one care for the full duration of each session, allowing for a highly personalized and focused treatment experience.

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for appointment cancellations or changes. Late cancellations or missed appointments will be charged the full session fee.

What are your privacy policies?

Your privacy is important. All personal health information is handled with strict confidentiality and in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

What can I expect from my first session?

Your initial session includes a comprehensive assessment of your needs, movement patterns, and goals. We will review your intake forms together and begin introducing you to the Pilates equipment and studio environment. The session will focus on foundational exercises designed to support alignment, awareness, and preparation for more advanced movement over time.

What should I wear to my session?

Wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. Form-fitting attire is preferred to help assess alignment. Grip socks are recommended for both hygiene and safety while using the equipment.
